My best friend and I were wandering inside the Miramar Mall in Hong Kong searching for a comfortable-and-delicious restaurant to have our dinner when we discovered this great restaurant. We were comtemplating either to go for Japanese or Singaporean food dinner when we passed by this restaurant and greeted with a smile from a pretty girl (like a bell girl?).
When i asked whether the restaurant is halal, the pretty girl immedately showed me the Halal certification for their chicken and lambs. Jumped with joy, we immediately agreed to have our dinner at the restaurant.
Food are variety with mostly are kebab meals (yes, very descriptive of its restaurant name which i should have noticed :P ) based on contemporary Indian cuisine. However, they also serve A la Cart rice menu...
As usual, i normally settled for Chicken Briyani (i can't remember the price). We also ordered some bread (pratha & garlic naan) and a very spicy Mutton Vindaloo (HK$118) despite the 'very very spicy' warning from the waitress. She was not kidding!!! The fiery Goan lamb curry was very very very spicy and caused some air expelled from top of our head and ears... it was so spicy that we almost cried!! However, it was so delicious that we kept eating eat. You could order this if you want to try the spiciness of Indian spices and herbs.
The Chicken Briyani basmathi was OK. Both Mutton Vindaloo and Chicken Briyani were served in a nice practical-space-consumed bowls. The range of drinks were not much though. This restaurant also serve liquour so those who wants to drink can have some cocktail for their dinner. I've ordered the watermelon juice and my best friend ordered her mango lassi. I wished that they've served us in a larger glass though...
